Galette des rois apple frangipane

Ingredients (serves 8) :

 

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

2. In a bowl, mix the applesauce, almond powder, almond paste spread and agave syrup.

3. Add 1 egg and 1 white from the second egg to the mixture (keep the yolk for gilding), then mix well.

4. Flour your work surface and lay out the first puff pastry. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg yolk.

5. Pour onto the puff pastry. Place the fava bean and cover with the second puff pastry. Press the edges with your fingers to close the cake.

6. Use a knife to make patterns around the edge of the galette . Then decorate the top of the galette by drawing with the knife.

7. Brush the galette with egg yolk.

8. Bake the galette for about 30 minutes at 180°C.
